Britain's young people have a natural passion for entrepreneurship

Britain’s youth is passionate about entrepreneurship, according to a new survey released by Dell and StartUp Britain, which found that more than 63 per cent of students surveyed wanted to start their own business.

The study surveyed 380 students aged 15–24 across Britain between October and November 2012 and found that a quarter of them wanted to start a business within the technology sector.

Other headline findings found that:

· 32 per cent saw funding and 22 percent experience as barriers to starting a business

· 29 per cent would consider applying for a start-up loan

· 70 per cent felt that a laptop followed by 13 percent mobile phone were the most important pieces of equipment needed to start a business.
